July always ends up being LEGO month at our house because my club has its summer show around this time each year. While my movie watching and writing have slowed to a crawl, my LEGO time has shot through the roof.
We try to organize different activities for the kids to enjoy at the show because they aren't allowed to touch our display, and this amounts to torture for some of our more enthusiastic visitors. Having gotten tired of the LEGO coloring sheets already available online, I made a new one for this year's show that features a minifig wearing a shirt with our club logo. It's not perfect, but here it is. Hopefully the kids at the show will enjoy coloring it! Maybe I will try to make a better one for next year's show.
Tennessee Valley LEGO Train Club does two shows each year in Huntsville, AL, with occasional appearances at other venues. Our next show will be at the historic Huntsville Depot on July 16, 2011.
